Quality, food safety and environmental policy:

At Grupo Pastisart, we are focused in the design, development, manufacture and sale of bakery products, following quality, food safety and environmental programs that are our strengths in achieving the needs, expectations of our customers and the other interested parties, guaranteeing their total satisfaction.

Our main mission is to be “category captain” in the quality pastry segment in Spain and with a high penetration in the international market, with the ability to understand demands of our customers and consumers, as well as in improving management of the point of sale, taking into account legal requirements established in national and international legislation, and any other requirement that we subscribe that comes from our clients. In addition to the mission, our vision is to delight consumers with quality products that offer pleasure while being compatible with their health.

In relation to the environment, our commitment is to develop an industrial activity compatible with prevention, sustainability, and its conservation from a life cycle perspective, always being compatible with the applicable food safety requirements. Therefore, we are committed to continuous improvement, establishing environmental goals and targets, to the prevention and control of pollution, which reduces environmental impacts, such as compliance with all current environmental legislation and regulations that we apply.

              In reference to our ethical and personal responsibility, we declare our commitment in the establishment and development of actions that integrate equal treatment and opportunities, without discriminating on the basis of gender, race, sex, religion, opinion or any other condition or personal circumstance or social, as well as promoting measures to achieve this equality of opportunities as a strategic principle of its Human Resources policy.

Regarding our risk prevention program, we seek to achieve the safety and health of our collaborators, and the improvement of working conditions in the performance of their daily tasks. Together we maintain a common goal: the development of safe products through the development of skills through training and promoting a culture of quality awareness and food safety.

Grupo Pastisart has a consolidated Quality and Environment SG that takes ISO 9001-14001 Standards as a reference and a Food Safety SG based on international standards: IFS (International Featured Standards) and BRC (British Retail Consortium), taking from each reference the points of greatest demand and always prevailing, the benefits of food security in the face of actions derived from other policies that may intercede in food safety or the health of workers.

Our Managers will continue to engage with all interested parties to ensure continuous improvement and development, compliance with the Quality, Environmental and Food Safety Management System, as well as, in ensuring knowledge of the environment for fraud control, food defense (Food defense), and in the identification of our risks and opportunities for quality and environmental management.

To conclude, we are also committed to inform about quality, food safety and environmental policy to our employees at all levels of the organization and to all other stakeholders. All of this helps us to confidently face the challenges of Industry 4.0.
